How This Came To Be...
Over the past year we have been sensing a major change in the Spirit. Not just us, but many people have picked up that a shift would be coming in the "church" as we know it. (Read more on the shift, here)
On April 2, 2008, an outpouring of the Spirit and power of God started in Lakeland, Florida at Ignited Church. An evangelist, Todd Bentley, of Fresh Fire Ministries, had come to Lakeland to preach at the church for 5 days.
God apparently had other plans.
Multiple signs of God's presence showed up that first week and the outpouring began.
The meeting in Florida went from a 700 seat church, to a 3000 seat church, to a 8000 seat convention center, to a 10,000 seat stadium in about 5 weeks. They now have lined up a permanent venue.
Around the middle of April we started hearing word of the outpouring from multiple sources. On April 28 2008, we watched the live feed online at www.God.tv. That night we sensed in the Spirit that God wanted us to open up our home to whoever wanted or needed to receive from God. The next night, some friends of ours had just returned from the revival in Florida. They came and prayed for us to receive that same power from the outpouring in Lakeland. For the next few days we prayed for clarity on God's plan for us, here in Albemarle, NC.
Thursday morning, May 1st 2008, we felt very confident that God's plan was for us to offer a place for people in this area to come and join together in fellowship, worship and expectancy to God. The direction was to open our home each night the revival was aired live. That morning we ordered Direct TV, who had the God TV channel, and had multiple units installed to prepare for incoming people.
Since then, we have gathered every night and God has showed up HERE in power EACH NIGHT! There has been something EVERY night that we were glad that we didn't miss. It has truly been a blessing.
A common theme of this outpouring is that the anointing IS transferable.
Our desire is that many people will come and meet God, receive from HIM and take this FIRE of God back with them, wherever they go!!

Friends Visit Florida!
Bring Love & Joy Back To Us
Our good friends, Robert & Linda Levine came and visited with
us this week. A couple of weeks ago they went to Lakeland for a few
days and soaked it up. Tuesday, they came to visit and impart some more
to us. They were such a blessing, lifting and lightening the
atmosphere. Love and Joy came with them and was imparted here. Robert
& Linda, thanks so much again for visiting with us!

Saturday night a friend of our guests came and fellowshipped with us. I wish you could have seen her face as salvation from Jesus Christ came into her spirit! She walked out fresh, light, joyful and with less pain than she came with! HALLELUJAH!!5/31/2008 It's Going To Explode In NC!
Something is ramping up in the Spirit here in Albemarle. Over the past few weeks you could sense the faith for the things of God rising to new levels in each person. Each night we feel like we could practically see the needle raising on the gauge of expectancy for more of the presence of God. A few nights ago, we sensed the Spirit say that a big outpouring would be had here. How big and to what extent, we are not sure of, but we do know that IT IS ON THE WAY! Father, we praise You and worship You! Jesus send Your Holy Spirit on us and pour out Your will on this place! In Jesus Christ's Name, so be it!5/29/2008 Body Pain Healed at Work!
A lady who attends with us regularly here in Albemarle took healing with her to work. A co-worker was having some pain in her body and asked this lady to pray for her. Our friends, Gerald & Geraldine Yates, just came back from the outpouring in Florida & brought impartation with them! They came on Tuesday night and prayed for an impartation here. The Florida Outpouring moved today into their new home: a world class air-conditioned tent that can seat 10,000! It is 2 football fields wide and 1 football field deep.
